Ok, So the Sunshine Didn't Last Long,

But that didn't stop us....

Today, we finally woke up to some sunshine!!

At Port Townsend:

A fort (prior to getting the cool fort making kits from Grandma)

The Athletes started to arrive.....

They were intense....

They were confused.....

They were cute....

They did a little smack-talking about who was going to win the race.

Race numbers were pinned...

After a warmup and some stretching to the "Chariots of Fire" soundtrack,

they lined up at the start line.

And they were off...

Thank goodness we had some course monitors to keep the little ones going in the right direction.... sorta in the right direction, at least.

And Thank Goodness -- The birthday boy won the race!
