3.5 Hours and a Backache Later...

Today I followed my first official pattern. This is Amy Butler's "Nappy Bag" Pattern. I messed up on the fusible interfacing, so I have only one pocket inside when I was supposed to have 10.... but not bad for a first effort! This bag is very large, so it will be perfect for my purposes. :) Next time, I'll be able to save some time and effort by skipping the steps I found unnecessary and perhaps add some more of those pockets... I'll also splurge on more expensive interior fabric. For this first one, I went with the sale table for the interior - I figured I would mess up and didn't want to see a ton of money go down the drain. (How's that for optimistic!?)
